How it works
01
Explore
Browse our curated exhibitions and discover original artwork from independent UK artists.
Each exhibition brings together a collection of work around a particular theme, giving you something new to discover throughout the year.
02
Find the one
Art is personal. When you find that piece, it's yours to choose.
You might be drawn to the subject, the colours, the story, the artist's style — or simply know that you want to keep looking at it.
03
Buy securely
Purchase your artwork through Art Happy using our secure online checkout.
The price you see is the price of the artwork, and UK delivery is included. For international purchases, delivery charges will be shown at checkout.
04
Meet your artist
Your artwork comes directly from the independent artist who created it.
After your purchase, we'll introduce you to the artist by email and provide them with the information they need to send your artwork to you.
05
Your artist sends your artwork
Your artist carefully packages your artwork and arranges tracked delivery directly to you.
They'll communicate with you about dispatch, tracking, and delivery, so you're dealing directly with the person sending your artwork, not a distant warehouse.
06
Make it yours
Then comes the best bit. Your artwork arrives.
Unwrap it. Find its place. Hang it on the wall. You now own a unique piece of art that exists nowhere else.
Original art at clear prices
Three formats. Three prices.
We've made buying original art simpler by creating three Art Happy artwork formats.
All measurements refer to the artwork itself and exclude any frame.
Artists may choose to include a frame at no additional cost, and this will always be clearly stated on the individual artwork listing.
UK delivery is included in the artwork price.

Buy art from the person who made it
There is something rather special about buying original art.
You're not buying something that has been manufactured thousands of times. You're buying something another person imagined, created, and poured their love, joy, and pride into.
And when you buy through Art Happy, a significant part of what you pay goes directly to the artist whose work you chose.
Your space gains something original. An independent artist gains another reason to keep creating.
That feels like a pretty good exchange to us.
Get in first
See the exhibitions before everyone else.
Every Art Happy exhibition opens to our Early Access list 48 hours before the public exhibition begins.
Because every artwork is an original, once it's sold, it's sold.
Join Early Access and you'll have the first opportunity to discover the collection and buy the artwork you love before the exhibition opens publicly.
