No - not at all. The evening is designed so that complete beginners feel comfortable and supported. We all paint the same painting and every single step is explained and demonstrated as we go along. No one is left behind and everyone leaves with a final painting they can enjoy and be proud of.

Absolutely. Many people who attend are already creative; we have had professional artists and art teachers along to previous events, and they’ve had a fantastic time. The evening is relaxed, social, and a chance to paint freely without pressure.

Your ticket includes all the materials you need for the evening, including canvas, paints, aprons, and brushes, along with step-by-step guidance throughout the session and free tea and coffee. You’ll also take your finished painting home with you.

All materials are provided, along with tea and coffee, and there is a bar at the bowling club that will be open all evening for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The only thing you may want to bring with you that is not included are some snacks to nibble on during the evening.

Yes, many people do. Paint ‘n’ Sip evenings are friendly and welcoming, and they’re a lovely way to meet new people as well as come with friends.

Please note that some payment processors can take up to 7 working days to refund the money into your bank account. I will provide proof of the refund via email.

If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend. Just let us know in advance so we can update the guest list, but unfortunately refunds cannot be issued within 24 hours of the event (see refund policy).

There is no parking available directly at the bowling club, but the streets outside and nearby are free to park on, and there are small free car parks at Broughty Ferry Castle and Broughty Ferry Beach, both a 5-minute walk away.
