studio aisslinger, a german architecture firm, have created a concept for a sustainable, transportable house that requires low energy. it's called "fincube." it was created in northern italy, 1200m above sea level. it's completely made out of local wood and it can easily be taken apart and rebuilt on a new site, requiring only 2 meters of soil sealing. it also has solar panels on the roof, further reducing its carbon footprint.
